Introduction and Example

This free service will generate a random quote from the Darthy.net database which will be displayed on your page. The code you need to insert into your site can be completely customized so it will fit nicely into your site.

There’s also a possibility to add your own quotes to the database below. For a listing of all the quotes, see the bottom of the page.

Here is an example of how it can look. This is done with the code you can generate for your site below:

Generate code for your site

Fill in the form below and press the “Generate Code” button. This will put the code you need into the text area below. Copy paste this code into a good place on your site and it should work.

Submit a new quote

Enter the quote and only the original author of the quote and press the “Submit New Quote” button. Your quote will then be added to the Darthy.net database and after approval (usually within a couple of hours) it can be dispayed on the sites that have our Random Quotes installed.
Note: if you leave the author field blank then the quote will be registered under “Anonymous”. Also don’t use only capital letters and submit the quote in English please.
